Nightmare Before Christmas

Arsenal had a horrific week, that couldn’t have gone much more miserably.

It kicked off with Arsenal drawing Bayern Munich in the Round of 16 in the Champions League, again. I reckon we could pull of a shock if we are still in the tie for the second leg.

Against Everton we showed little creativity, and showed that we still have a vulnerable back line. Everton deserved to beat us on the day but I uphold the fact the we should beat them away from home with their current situation.

City away was a disaster. An early lead was again predictably quelled. We stopped counter attacking early on, despite the fact we scored from a fluid counter attacking move. Once more we showed our defensive frailties, and our lack of creativity. It’s clear we miss Cazorla and Mustafi.

We have a busy festive period to look forward to, and a run of winnable matches, Merry Christmas and Up the Arsenal.
